What is flood   When the sun falls on the glaciers then the glaciers  melt moreover , the glaciers appear in the form of floods .Nowadays , the floods have become very common because of the global  warming .                      Global warming is the increase in the temperature of earth due to the emission of green house gases example carbon dioxide ,  in air .     As a result , the sun's    infrared radiations would not reflect back .     Due  to the increase of temperature the glaciers and ice caps are vanishing day by day .Not only Hunza is affected rather the other parts of the world are equally influenced by this natural disaster .These floods cause devastation worldwide .       Annually , floods come in Hunza which unfortunately takes many lives    .Not only humans are facing a misery , but animals are equally affected ....

Avalanche is a mass of snow or rock falling down the side of a mountain . This mass of snow causes a great destruction because it devours everything that comes on it is way even it engulfs trees .Hunza is equally suffering from these avalanches .The most recent example of this is that of the Ultar Glacier ,  in which a sudden earth quake came due to this ,  their was the sliding and then it had taken the shape of an avalanche  .Many people died and many were injured .

One of most dangerous road in world in Hunza valle

Image
The most dangerous road in Hunza is the road that goes to Shimshal Hunza which is a small village in Upper Hunza .Every year many people sacrifice their lives when travelling through this dangerous route .This road is quite narrow and on winters generally due to the harsh climate (the temperature even below the freezing point of water) ,  the road is covered by the ice that is why it is really hard to travel in such harsh circumstances .Hence , this further increases the risk of accidents ,  and makes it the most dangerous road in Hunza

Departure from Hunza

Soon the day came when I had to leave Hunza for higher studies .My heart sank when the bus exited the bus stop when my parents left me at the bus stop and then I was about to cry .It was a time when I was in a dilemma i.e I had to choose one from two equally important things .First Hunza of which I was fond of ! and the other was my education .Since , education for the society as well as for the individual .That is why I made a firm decision to head towards the city

Residency in Hunza , a blessing

Hunza has a completely different climate. Its  not just the place I admire rather its a place I adore .It  has given me a platform to nurture my talent in the form of  golden opportunities which has completely changed my personality .Most important thing ,  Hunza has gifted me  the core values example , integrity , fairness , hard work and many more  .Hunza is not only stunningly beautiful , but also rich in biodiversity .Every kind of living creature : birds , reptiles , simply organisms from each kingdom is present on this land .In all , providing habitat  to many creatures . The above mentioned skills were the skills my parents had .And then my parents passed on these skills .We all are acquiring education , but if we do not have the above skills then we would be simply well trained not well educated .If I was not born in Hunza then I would be incomplete .Because , It has taught me great lessons of life .Though living in Hunza is harder than the...

Programs working in Hunza and the youth of Hunza

Image
Hunza is the land of whispering hills and great mountains .It has straight roads , restaurants   ,banks , hospitals ,  NGOS and every facility available in cities .In 1960 Hunza was too backward ,  it neither had hospitals nor had good infrastructure , but then a great revolution and a sudden change came which has completely changed the  face of Hunza .The credit goes to the people of Hunza .Literally hats off to the people of Hunza who  changed  the shape of Hunza in a very short time …..By their dedication and hard work they have reached the  pinnacles of success .In addition , some credit also goes to the tourists who were a source of foreign exchange . There are some organizations working in Hunza which have played a pivotal role in the rapid development of  the area as well as has increased the standard of living of the people … For example there is Aga Khan Higher Secondary School which is the   well-known ...

Hunza  is the brain of Gilgit  Baltistan . Hunza , a paradise on earth

Image
The  valley was covered by elegant mountains having snow on them .In addition , there was a cascade which shifted my mood and mesmerised me by chilling my mind as well as my soul ............The breeze was so refreshing and welcoming that I thought as if I were in a paradise ,  having a variety tof trees each having a large number of mouth watering fruits .Youngers paid the elders salaam while the elders smiled and felt proud of their youngers .Both men and women wore Salwaar Qameez along with the traditional caps which literally sounded stunning Hunza no doubt is a spectacular and mind blowing place .Hunza was one of the princely states of the Indian Subcontinent as the princely states were given the authority to choose either Pakistan or India .Hunza opted for Pakistan .Fortunately , Hunza has 100% literacy rate and has negligible crime rate . Hunza is known for its scenic beauty including high mountains , glaciers and many more ................ The old name of Hunza...
